Safety Policy Statement

Hawaii Steel LLC has crafted a thorough safety program that specifically targets our safety concerns and offers clear instructions for carrying out our assigned tasks in accordance with relevant Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. Ensuring safety requires a dedicated effort from everyone in our organization. Our training sessions encourage active participation, foster an environment for asking questions, and welcome suggestions. Additionally, we have well-documented policies and procedures that serve as a point of reference for all personnel.

Safety Policy Goal

Hawaii Steel's Safety Goal is: to not injure one single person or damage any property or equipment. This goal is stated conspicuously in each project specific safety manual the corporate safety manual.

It is the policy of Hawaii Steel LLC to provide a work environment that is inherently safe. The safety and health of our employees is of primary importance as they are our most important resource.

Safety training needs will be identified by continual assessment of our work methods, equipment, job sites, and employee and management input. Observation of unsafe acts will be addressed immediately.

Each employee is encouraged to contact their Supervisor immediately should a safety or health risk exist to ensure that corrective action be taken.

Safety requires not only that each person understand and perform individual tasks in a safe manner, but also that each individual is aware of his surroundings and actively involved in the safety of others.

This Policy Statement will be conspicuously posted with OSHA form 2203, Job Safety & Health Protection.
