Diamond Head Theatre

The newly constructed Diamond Head Theatre boasts an impressive area of 17,000 square feet and can accommodate an audience of 482 individuals. The theatre is equipped with an orchestra pit to enhance live performances. Notably, the building features a fly loft, allowing scenery to be seamlessly raised and lowered over the stage, facilitating dynamic stage productions.

The architectural design incorporates a sophisticated roofing system, consisting of two main trusses weighing 20,000 pounds each, which were skillfully spliced and elevated to create an expansive 75-foot span across the auditorium. This thoughtful design allows for the integration of catwalks, ship ladders, and platforms, providing convenient access for maintenance and production needs.

To cater to the needs of performers, the theatre includes spacious dressing rooms situated behind the stage. These dressing rooms are complete with attached bathrooms and showers, ensuring the comfort and convenience of the performers.
